Celebrating a Purr-fect Evening at the GTHS Furball Soirée

The recent GTHS Furball Soirée, held at The Georgian Peaks Club on September 9, 2023, proved to be a heartwarming and memorable event that left a lasting impact. This annual gathering brought together over 200 passionate pet champions, who all shared a common goal: supporting day-to-day GTHS Programs and Services aimed at strengthening the bond between pets and their loving owners. TOGETHER with a special matching donor in memory of beloved Deeks, Gibbs and Marley, guests made Furball history and raised $155,000 and counting.

With the fundamental objective of promoting community wellness, the Furball Soirée managed to strike the perfect balance between fundraising and enjoyment. The funds raised during the event will be directly channeled into GTHS Programs that focus on preserving the cherished relationships between pets and their human companions, which helps advance the overall health and wellness of pets and people of South Georgian Bay.

The evening was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and new friendships, as attendees mingled with old friends and made new connections. Memories were made, as the night unfolded with dancing and celebration, making it an incredible evening for all in attendance.

The success of the Furball Soirée would not have been possible without the support of its sponsors, who played an integral role in ensuring the event’s triumph. A special shoutout goes to Paul Chapman of RBC Wealth Management, whose significant contribution as a presenter played a crucial part in the event’s seamless execution. Additional gratitude is extended to Soiree Sponsors, Effort and Ease, Dean’s Carpet One, Royal Canin, and Martin Price of Mortgage Architects for their generous support. The band was sponsored by Lovell and Associates.
