The Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) was overwhelmed by the heartwarming display of support from the community during the recent Golf for Pets event at Blue Mountain Golf and Country Club on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Despite the looming storm, participants showed unwavering dedication and enthusiasm, making the day an astounding success.
Golf for Pets proved to be an exciting and memorable occasion, with attendees showcasing their “Can–do” spirit and undying optimism, all in the name of supporting pets in need. Under threatening skies and with sunshine in their hearts, participants enthusiastically took part in the day’s activities, knowing that their contributions would have a lasting impact on the lives of pets in emergency situations.
Even as storm clouds gathered and tornado sirens sounded their warning, the participants fearlessly endured, displaying their deep dedication to the cause. Their efforts were not in vain, as they managed to raise an astounding amount of over $67,000 in support of GTHS emergency services. This impressive feat showcases the passionate and caring nature of the community, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
The success of Golf for Pets filled everyone with hope and reassurance that with such a devoted and compassionate community, the GTHS can continue to make a real difference for pets in need and their beloved families alike, especially during their most challenging moments.
As the day wrapped up, the spirit of unity and support lingered, leaving a lasting impact on the entire community. The Golf for Pets event was a shining example of what can be achieved when GTHS Pet Champions rally together for a common cause.
