Media Volunteer

The Georgian Triangle Humane society is a non-for-profit charity that works to provide innovative programs and compassionate services to pets and people in the south Georgian Bay region and beyond.

We rely heavily on a variety of activities to raise awareness and funds to support our programs and services. The Media Volunteer helps us to understand what drives people to connect with our organization, which in turn helps us plan our communication strategies.

The Media Volunteer reports to the Marketing & Public Relations Manager (or delegate) and follows publications on a weekly basis to help the GTHS see where exposure is being gained and monitors how the organization is mentioned in the press. Media tracking may be completed from home and/or at the Animal Centre. Filing takes place at the Animal Centre.
