The 8th Annual (Virtual) Walkathon Your Way Results are in!

After 2 months of fundraising, 1 whole week of celebrating your Walkathon stories, with 100 participants, and over 612 supporters….the GTHS animals have over 91,000 (and counting!) reasons to be happy! That’s right…

…the 8th Annual (Virtual) GTHS Walkathon has raised over $91,000!!!

$91,000 raised and still going strong! We are so thankful and beyond excited to announce that you have made this year’s Walkathon an incredible success by raising $20,000 over our goal! You walked, you hiked, you biked, you cycled, you believed in this event and you made it your very own. In a time when our organization needed you…you answered the call and went above and beyond to change the lives of animals in our community. 

Every dollar raised is a critically needed dollar for the Georgian Triangle Humane Society’s programs, support services, and most importantly, the animals and their families who come to us in need. Your fundraising will have a lasting impact on our organization as this week the Animal Care Team was able to purchase 12 brand new Kuranda beds! Every dog kennel is going to get a new bed as well as the front cat room!! Our previous Kuranda beds were in various states of disrepair as they were purchased over 15 years ago. They hold up and last a really long time but we were due to get some new ones. THANK YOU!
