This summer, for the first time ever, the GTHS teamed up with two other amazing, local charitable organizations to deliver a unique and exciting summer camp for kids. Our campers had a week full of fun and learning! They got to explore nature, meet live snakes, lizards and turtles, as well as learn about local wildlife and preserving it. They also got to visit some furry friends here at GTHS, tour the shelter and learn about domestic animal behaviours and care.
The campers were an absolute pleasure to have here at the shelter. The big smiles and enthusiasm from the kids while they were here learning about GTHS was so wonderful to experience, and they always came armed with personally designed treat bags, adoption posters and cat cabins!
