Dear GTHS supporters,
This month, the GTHS received an incredible gift. Just in time for the cold weather and for an upcoming transfer just days later, the official GTHS transfer and outreach van arrived.
The van was a gift from a small group of incredible donors. Thanks to Pam Odam, Teri Band, Lynn and Derrick March and the Zoey Foundation, as well as Lynne and Sean Seawright, the transfer team will have a reliable and safe vehicle to travel in when they make their treks to pick up hundreds of animals each year.
Having an outreach vehicle also means, that GTHS staff and volunteers will be able to get out into the community to help pet owners who need our help through outreach programs. An example of this would be our Pet Pantry program, where staff and volunteers deliver food to hungry animals living with families who love them but are stretched to provide food during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now, without question, the team will have a safe vehicle to drive with their precious cargo. What a relief! We are incredibly grateful to you for making this happen.
With sincere gratitude,
Sonya
