Boy oh boy, Shadow is one lucky kitten!

Found on January 20th on a farm in Stayner, it seemed clear that Shadow and his sister had been dumped. Scared and hungry, they were both badly injured from what appeared to be a raccoon attack.

Despite extensive veterinary treatment and care, Shadow’s sister, Bella, did not survive her injuries.

Shadow stayed at Bellbrae Animal Hospital for over four weeks while the team worked around the clock to save his life. Thank you Bellbrae Animal Hospital for helping us to help Shadow!

Even better, one veterinarian fell in love with Shadow while caring for him and has brought him home to join her family.

Saving lives can be heart-wrenching work and we were all so sad to say goodbye to Bella. We are so grateful that Shadow (now “Moe”) has the second chance with a loving family!
