Save Animals. Volunteers Needed!

Volunteers are the life blood of the Georgian Triangle Humane Society. This year we are on track to adopt out 1,200 animals, we have programs for adoption, humane education, & spay/neuter. None of these programs could not be possible without our AMAZING volunteers.
Volunteering for the GTHS is rewarding, impactful, and meaningful, but don’t take it from us. Hear from our volunteers directly:
“This has honestly been such a good experience and I’m so glad to have been able to spend some time with the cats! We won’t be able to come up here starting September but will be back in the summer. I’m extremely sad because volunteering at the humane society has honestly been the best. I’m very hopeful to continue to volunteer next summer as well. ” – GTHS Cat Care Volunteer
“I volunteer to give back to the community. I just find it’s rewarding. There’s no monetary payment, it’s just for self-satisfaction. It is very satisfying.” – GTHS Cat Care Technician Volunteer.

We currently have two urgent openings for volunteers in our cat care department, as Cat Care Technicians & general Cat Care. We are looking for people who have a love of cats, are passionate and kind. The GTHS Cat Care team works to increase the welfare and health of GTHS feline residents.
