Sarah, now known as Sassy, went to a wonderful forever home in late 2013. We have been in touch with her parents since the day they met her. At first, her mom Judy came to the Shelter, and then sent us a lovely note:
I dropped in today to cuddle a cat or kitten after losing our precious, precious Buddy on the 19th Dec. It was heart-warming spending that time in your beautiful shelter which is so clean and warm. I fell in love with Sarah and have convinced my husband to come by tomorrow to see her..we have a golden Retriever who would love to have another cuddler with him when we are working. He is incredibly gentle with cats and loves them all….Judy
After another visit, it was love! Judy and her husband adopted Sassy and took her home to meet her new canine brother! We were so happy to hear from them again after Sassy was all settled:
We asked Judy if she would mind sending us some photos of Sassy in her new home, so we could share her wonderful adoption story with our volunteers and supporters. Judy emailed us back along with some adorable photos. Sassy is one lucky girl to have found such a wonderful, loving, forever home and family!
Hi Guys, Finally got all the photos in order and with a little bit of help, managed to put a file together. She is gorgeous and we are very proud of her. Thanks for all you did.
