Remembrance Day
Each Remembrance Day, we wear a poppy to honour the veterans who have bravely served our country. The OSPCA has designed the Animals in War pin to be worn as a complement to the poppy to also remember the animals who have served.
One pin features a dog and represents the sacrifices of all animals in war, while the other is a limited edition commemorative pin in honour of women in Canada’s military and the animals they served alongside. Available at the Shelter and Treasure Tails for $12. For each pin sold, $1 will be donated to the Royal Canadian Legion.
