Phoenix Snow

This is Phoenix Snow and this is his story…

The message came in: “I have a special one for you. He was born outside, back legs were frozen…he has cherry eye now.  He is a nice pup and deserves a chance. ” ~ Rankin Inlet, Nunavut.

We couldn’t agree more. After a brief stay in a loving Manitoba foster home, Phoenix Snow arrived at the Toronto airport on his way to the GTHS. This little guy is only 4 months old and sadly had a very rough start, although you would never know by his loving disposition and personality. He has no tail and only 1 toe on his back feet. His hind legs are shorter, yet he still manages to get around quite well. Thanks to the care he’s received with his foster families, his cherry eye has cleared up and he’s making himself right at home with wonderful local foster parents.

Next week Phoenix Snow will be assessed by a vet to see what can be done to address his mobility issues. We will keep you posted on the outcome as we help him along his journey to find his forever home.

Thank you to Flights for Hope for sponsoring this special boy’s flight to Toronto.
