Our Monthly PAW Donors Saved Oliver

January is PAW Donor Month and today we want to share a story that explains just why our PAW Donors are so important.

Oliver came to us this week. He was discovered on the side of the road having been struck by a car.  A local vet’s office brought him to us to see if we could help as he did not have an owner to look to. Oliver has a badly broken hip.  Fortunately, because of our PAW Donors, he went right into surgery at the GTHS Animal Hospital.

Dr. Anick Amaro worked with Dr. Doris Neculoiu to perform Oliver’s femoral head ostectomy (FHO) which is a surgical operation to remove the head and neck from her femur. GTHS PAW Donors covered the cost of this surgery.

For as little as a dollar a day, YOU can make a significant impact in the life of an animal. You can play a vital role in their health and wellness. Please consider joining as a member of our Monthly PAW Donor Program.
