Charlie Cat is a 8 month old sweet cat that was surrendered into the care of GTHS. Upon arrival we realized he needed immediate medical care due to fleas and general poor condition. Of particular note was his left eye which was infected. Our veterinarians discovered that due to a congenital defect his left eye had a smaller opening and was therefore prone to irritation and infection. For his comfort and well-being our veterinary team has recommended surgery to remove his eye. This procedure is expensive and we are grateful to Bellbrae Animal Hospital for donating their time to keep costs down. At this time we are asking the public to help us cover these costs and are grateful for any monetary donations received!
