National Volunteer Week: Meet Karen

National Volunteer Week is our FAVOURITE time of year at the Georgian Triangle Humane Society. It gives us the chance to celebrate our OUTSTANDING Volunteer Team. Each day of National Volunteer Week we are featuring a GTHS Volunteer that has gone above and beyond for all the animals in our programs. We could not accomplish as much as we do without them!

Position at the GTHS
Cat Care Tech & Cat Adoption Supervisor

Karen has been volunteering her time at GTHS for 2 and a half years. She volunteers at GTHS because it makes her life complete. She loves helping the animals start a new life. We are so thankful to have Karen as part of our volunteer team. She goes above and beyond to do anything and everything to help take care of all cat and kittens in our care. She helps to groom them, feed them, give medications to those that need them, and helps find them forever homes when they are well enough. Karen was part of the team who was able to help 650 Cats & Kittens find their forever homes last year!  Thank you Karen for everything you do for our cats and kittens!
