The sweetest day of the year sure was sweet! Individuals and businesses came together to “bake” a difference for animals in need in our community and what a success it was!
We saw cupcake day parties, in store promotions, donation campaigns and so much more take place in all five communities from Clearview to Meaford. Thank you to those who participated – we couldn’t be more thankful for your support!

Bake Sale at the GTHS Shelter
On National Cupcake Day the Shelter hosted a bake sale where our volunteers baked delicious goodies, and local businesses donated items. We had SO MANY amazing items and filled up on sweets.

Bake Sale at Treasure Tails
On National Cupcake Day our Treasure Tails store hosted the team from 95.1 The Peak FM! They held a bake sale in support of the Shelter and welcomed customers and cupcake lovers from the downtown Collingwood area. Thanks to the Treasure Tails team and 95.1 The Peak FM for their work in supporting the Shelter!

Local Businesses supporting GTHS
On days leading up to National Cupcake Day, a number of local area businesses hosted in store promotions with proceeds being donated to GTHS. We also saw a number of local businesses join in the fun and host their very own Cupcake Day Party! Thank you to those who got involved and supported our animals!
