Mickey is a six month old kitten that arrived at the Georgian Triangle Humane Society on October 30th in a cardboard box. She was discovered by community members who found Mickey crying and dragging herself along the cold ground. Despite her best efforts, Mickey could not use her back legs.

Upon arrival at the shelter, the team sprung to action. Rushed to our veterinarians, it was revealed by x-ray that Mickey had a badly broken femur and a dislocated hip. To the team’s relief, both injuries could be repaired surgically and due to the severity of her case, Mickey received surgery immediately. The Guardian Angels program lived Mickey’s life!
