Mica LOVES her new family!

We always love happy endings at GTHS, as it means that our animals have found loving forever homes!  Mica’s family sent us an update on how she is doing, and it sounds like she is having the time of her life!

Mica is thriving and enjoying all of her new family and experiences.

Last weekend we took her up to our Moose hunting camp (she was thoroughly exhausted after the 6km walk in from the nearest road). This weekend she has met the rest of her human and dog family on Manitoulin Island. She is a champion swimmer and stick chaser, and playing happily with kids, dogs, and cousins alike.

We still have to feed her and Mollie in separate locations as she is a bit of a food predator (and was discovered today standing ON the kitchen table!), but that has been the only issue. She caught-on very quickly to invisible fencing, and has no issues with travel (including going out in the boat fishing).

Just wanted you to know she is behaving, thriving, and loved by all!
