Mickey was one of 6 puppies found in a snow bank in a Northern part of Canada. Sadly, due to harsh environmental conditions and devastatingly cold temperatures, Mickey was the only sibling to survive.
Rescued by , Mickey sought companionship and comfort from a stuffed animal named Teddy. Teddy traveled the long way with Mickey to the GTHS where he is recovering from lice and will soon be available for a loving, adoptive family (just in times for the holidays!).
Miracles DO happen but they require an immense amount of collaboration and dedication from all of those involved. We salute our partners in animal wellness and feel very fortunate to a part of Mickey’s journey.
