We met John when he participated in our first ever GTHS summer camp last year. Right from the beginning it was very obvious that John was a big time animal lover! During his time here John was always attentive, inquisitive about the animals in our care and loved being in our Main Cat Room meeting all of our shelter kitties.
It wasn’t long before John (with the help of his mom) became not only an adopter from the GTHS, but has provided a loving home to 2 of our GTHS cats!
We now see John at the shelter every few months. John and his mom always answer our donation call outs (as you can see in this photo) John brought all sorts of things for this year’s kitten season!.
John also takes the initiative to do his own fundraising, like ‘Johnny’s Cookie Co.’ where proceeds go to local charitable organizations like the Georgian Triangle Humane Society. We are so proud to have such generous young members of our community. Thank you to John for being such an incredibly wonderful friend to our animals.
