Position Title: Manager, People and Culture
Details: Permanent, full-time (35 hours weekly), hybrid work environment requiring the ability to work from home and onsite at the GTHS Animal Centre

The Manager of People & Culture embodies the values of the GTHS and is responsible for developing the processes and systems to promote a happy, healthy, and motivated team of people. This individual strives to foster a kind, courageous and engaged workplace culture. They understand how to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, promoting inclusive decision-making and teamwork. GTHS Managers are driven by the mission and vision of the GTHS, digging in when the work needs to get done, going above and beyond to support their teams, and modeling personal professionalism and well-being.

  • A local resident with over 5 years of experience in Humane Resources.
  • A professional that is committed to lifelong learning.
  • A highly organized individual that has superior technological and time management skills.
  • A strong motivator and relationship builder with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A seasoned leader who has experience coaching managers to build effective, healthy teams.
