First of all, as much as we loved the name Herbie we did decide to rename our pup so the kids could help out. So he now goes by Kevin. The kids absolutely adore him and he loves them right back. Kevin has been doing great with his training and loves his daily walks. His favourite toy right now seems to be an empty shampoo bottle of all things and he loves to play fetch! He’s even made friends with some of the other dogs in the neighbourhood and is a minor celebrity at the kids school.
Thanks again to all the staff and volunteers, especially his GTHS foster mom for taking such excellent care of him during his stay with you. He was obviously very loved and it shows in his demeanour and interactions with others. We promise to continue taking the very best care of him possible as he’s already become a member of the family.
We look forward to taking him hiking in the spring and having him join us on all our adventures for many years to come.
