To this end, for each day of National Volunteer Week we are featuring a GTHS Volunteer that has gone above and beyond for the animals in our programs. They are our SUPERSTARS!

WHY Kathi IS A GTHS STAR
Kathi has been passionate about animal welfare for her entire life and she brings that enthusiasm to the GTHS. As Director of Animal Welfare, Kathi works tirelessly to ensure that each animal receives the care and attention they deserve. As one of the organizations founding members, Kathi helped to develop the GTHS into the organization that it is today. As a result, the GTHS Animal Shelter is a safe and welcoming place for homeless animals needing a second chance.
Kathi is a strong believer in the power of team work. Regardless of titles, she believes that each team member should pitch in to accomplish the job. As a result, the GTHS Team, comprised of volunteers, staff and board members, is a cohesive and dynamic group that is united by their passion for animal welfare.
