To this end, for each day of National Volunteer Week we are featuring a GTHS Volunteer that has gone above and beyond for the animals in our programs. They are our SUPERSTARS!

WHY Wendy IS A GTHS STAR
Wendy C. is a faithful GTHS volunteer that helps out in all aspects of the shelter operations. Volunteering 4-5 times weekly (for several years) Wendy ensures that the shelter is organized, stocked, clean, bright and most of all, a delightful place to be!
Wendy is always smiling and shows enormous compassion for animals and people. Each afternoon she takes the time to offer tea and coffee to the staff and volunteers. During our crazy days at the shelter, it is a breathe of fresh air and it certainly brightens our day! For the animals, Wendy takes the time to ensure our adoptable cats are pampered, loved and well fed.
The staff and animals at the GTHS shelter are extremely lucky to have a Superstar like Wendy on our team.
