GTHS overwhelmed with senior pets like chico
Chico is one of hundreds of dogs that turned to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society (GTHS) for help this year. As a 15 year old senior dog, Chico is arthritic, frighten and eager for a new home.
Chico was surrendered with his two feline companions when his owner could no longer care for him. He was immediately entered into the Guardian Angels program due to severe dental disease and required diagnostics. His veterinary bills, combined with his two senior feline companions (Malala and Skooter), are well over $2000.
The request for space for senior cats and dogs has been dramatically higher in 2016.
Deserving a second chance, we didn’t hesitate to help Chico. Each and every one of them touches our hearts, as we know they just want to live out their final years with dignity and love.
At this time, we are urgently seeking donations to help cover the cost of Chico’s medical bills. Donations are being gratefully accepted at http://gths.ca/donatenow/

Thank you for supporting Chico!
