Gilbert was found as a little kitten on a trail in Wasaga Beach. He was happy and friendly but was dragging his front leg. It was clear that Gilbert had been dumped.
The Guardian Angels program provided Gilbert with extensive surgery to repair his front leg. The surgery required that Gilbert have external equipment harnessed to his bone for 8 weeks. Thankfully a wonderful foster volunteer took Gilbert into her home and provided him with the care that he needed. Even better, she fell in love and now Gilbert has a forever family to call his own!b
