Corporate Team Building Days
At GTHS we thrive on volunteering & community support to care for the health of our animals and provide enrichment.Our corporate team building will allow your group to experience a day in the shelter. Your participants will complete a rewarding day improving the lives of homeless animals in the Georgian Triangle Area. Your group will learn about the day to day operations of the GTHS, a facility that can serve over thousand animals annually.
GTHS receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations to provide abandoned, neglected, and abused domestic animals a second chance in life at a forever home. We endeavour to accommodate as many domestic animals as our resources will allow in our dedicated shelter. We promote responsible pet ownership, including spay/neutering and micro chipping. Through educational programs we provide information regarding animal care, as well as the humane treatment of all domestic animals.

What will your group be doing?
We offer many different opportunities for your team to contribute to GTHS, from day to day activities, interacting with the animals, and educational sessions.
Two Hour Session – $500 donation
- 1 hour tour and presentation
- Animal enrichment and/or interaction activity for one hour
Half Day ( 3 Hours) $1500 donation
- 1 hour tour and presentation
- Animal enrichment, interaction or shelter improvement
- Humane education session with animal activity interaction
- Recognition: Corporate logo on “Our Supporters” page, social media post, & logo in our annual report.
Full Day – $3000
- 1 Hour tour and presentation
- Animals enrichment activity
- Interaction with animals
- Shelter improvement tasks
- Humane Education session with activity
