Position at GTHS
Judy is a faithful Monday morning volunteer that works in our Cat Care Department. Judy has been volunteering the GTHS for 5 years and is always one of the first to fill in when we are short.
What brought Judy to the GTHS
I was looking for a volunteer position when I retired and found working with animals was a perfect match for me…the social connection while volunteering has been an added bonus!
Why Judy joined
A neighbour, who was volunteering at the shelter, suggested that I should volunteer there…that was 5 years ago when I made the decision to join the team! Over the years I’ve watched The Humane Society grow and flourish into a well-run machine…every Monday morning I look forward to joining ‘my team’ and interacting with the cats and my friends.

What a lot of people might not know about me is that I jumped out of a plane on my 50th birthday!
