Bruce B. has been volunteering with GTHS for many years. He is a part of the Wednesday team, volunteering faithfully every Wednesday morning in the Front Cat Adoption Room.
WHAT BROUGHT Bruce TO THE GTHS
I volunteer with the GTHS because I love animals. My family had cats for over 30 years. We said goodbye to our last special friend 3 years ago.
My wife’s allergic reaction to cats along with a heart condition meant no more cats in the house. In order to fill the gap in my heart I volunteered at the GTHS to work with kittens. I have been very happy with my decision as I have found like animal lovers and kind people with whom to laugh over coffee.
The warm and friendly atmosphere in “our shelter” created by the administration makes it a wonderful place to volunteer.
Thank you for everything you do for the cats at the shelter Bruce! We are so lucky to have you!
