Meet our special senior girl, BABBLE.
BABBLE is a sweet and loving 12 year old kitty that made her way to GTHS as a stray back in September. BABBLE has the most incredible orange coat and green eyes, and an absolutely beautiful disposition to match her beautiful looks!
While in our care, the GTHS team noticed that something wasn’t quite right with the way BABBLE walked around our adoption room. After a special vet visit and some xrays, it was discovered that this sweet old girl has some pretty severe degeneration in her back end. It is suspected that this was likely an old cruciate injury that healed incorrectly.
Good news is that this certainly isn’t a high maintenance girl! BABBLE will just need an adopter who is willing to give her a special food and a daily medication for pain management. With a little help from those meds, we expect BABBLE to live happily for the rest of her golden years.
If you’re thinking about adopting an older kitty, please consider our beautiful BABBLE. Although she is pretty quiet and withdrawn here in our Main Room at the shelter, she is much more outgoing and loves attention when she’s one-on-one with someone.
Please make a trip over to the shelter and talk with our Adoption Counselors about BABBLE . The GTHS is open for adoptions from 12pm-4pm, every single day of the week and we would be happy to introduce you to her! Please help us find this deserving girl a home!
