Simcoe is a 6 year old grey tabby who use to live in a home with two small dogs and young kids. His previous owners unfortunately became no longer able to care for him the way he needed and deserved. Thankfully they did the best thing possible for him and surrendered him to the Georgian Triangle Humane Society to find a forever home.
He is your typical lovable kitty cat who is looking for the simple joys in life. He dreams of a warm place to cuddle, a loving family to feed and take care of him and a few cat toys to play with. He is healthy, quiet, easy going and promises to bring a smile to your face every day. He would adjust well into a home with dogs, other cats, small children and of course loving parents.
If you think he is the one for you, visit him any day of the week from 12pm to 4pm or email catadoptions@gths.ca !
Quinny is a 4 year old Lab/German Shepherd patiently awaiting that special person to come into her life to give her a forever home. Her previous home couldn’t give her the care and love that she needed and deserved. They did the best possible thing for her by surrendering her to GTHS and giving her the best chance at finding a loving forever family!
She has not had much exposure to this big wide world we live in so she would absolutely love a moderately active couple (single or family) who will show her around. She would love to go for hikes, play in the back yard and maybe even swim if you show her how! She is a great walker on a leash!
She was recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism which means her thyroid doesn’t produce enough hormones. That’s okay though! This just means that it causes her to gain weight, have hair loss, and skin problems. With an inexpensive daily medication that she will need to be on for the rest of her life, the majority of her symptoms are resolved! We think her hypothyroidism is what makes her unique, special and just gives everyone another reason to LOVE her that much more!
