Our pets are family. They bring joy, love, and companionship into our lives and when it’s time to say goodbye, it can be one of the hardest decisions we ever face. Whether you’ve shared many years or just a short time together, letting go is never easy.
At the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, we are here to walk beside you during this difficult time. Our compassionate end-of-life services are designed to help your beloved companion pass peacefully, with dignity, respect, and love.
What to Expect
We encourage you to reach out to your regular veterinarian first, if possible, for end-of-life guidance and consultation.
If your vet is unavailable or you’re looking for additional support, our team is here for you. Services are offered by appointment only and are available through our on-site Animal Hospital.
Please note: While we do our best to accommodate urgent cases, we are not an emergency clinic. If your pet is in immediate distress, you may need to visit the nearest emergency veterinary hospital.
Service Fees
- Cats: $150 (includes sedation, euthanasia, and communal cremation; no remains returned)
- Dogs: $200 (includes sedation, euthanasia, and communal cremation; no remains returned)
Individual cremation with ashes returned in your choice of urn is available upon request.
Additional aftercare options, such as clay pawprints, are also available to help honour your pet’s memory. Our team will review these with you during your appointment.
You’re Not Alone
