When & How to Donate
Donations can be arranged by appointment. Please call the store during operating hours at 705-293-3233 to make arrangements. At this time we are only able to accept certain items, please see the list below.
Appointments are booked Wednesday-Saturday mornings, in 15-minute intervals based on the number of items indicated at the time of booking.
Acceptable Items
While we are appreciative of all donation offers, we are only able to accept new or gently used items in clean and saleable condition.
At this time, we are only able to accept the following items:
- Antiques
- Home Décor
- Women’s Clothing & Shoes
- Jewellery
- Purses
- Kitchenware
- China Sets
- China Tea Cups & Saucers
- Pet Items
- Books – Current fiction novels
- Furniture* (some restrictions apply)
- Artwork*
* For furniture and/or artwork donations, please email images and dimensions to sue@gths.ca – this is required for space planning purposes and to enable us to coordinate your appointment.
Please note that depending on the amount of product in store we may have to put a temporary hold on accepting certain items.
Where to Donate
Our receiving area is located at the back of our store and is open during donation appointment hours only.
There is a small alleyway located just North of the storefront that will lead to the parking lot at the rear of the building. Our door has a sign marked Treasure Tails. Please knock upon arrival.
