Dogs for adoption

Hi Friends,

I know, I'm stunning! I really am! I am a beautiful 70lb, seven-year-old girl looking for a home where I can be loved and cared for and who I can love right back. I am a bit nervous and anxious and it will take me some time to learn to trust. With the proper introductions I have been friendly and curious about meeting new people which is so great because then I can show off my sweet side. Once I am comfortable with you prepare for the lean of love! I really want nothing more than to sit with my human and snuggle right into their side for comfort and affection!

One thing I won't be leaning into are other dogs! I am not a social girl I am very nervous of other dogs and so I would really appreciate being your one and only! I would also be best in a home with just grown ups because you may have picked up on the fact that I am a little bit nervous. Did I mention I get nervous? When we are out for walks I don't react to things I just like to take my time and enjoy the stroll and I would do really well if you were positive and loving with me and reinforced all the good things! I am ready for a new family who will treat me with all the love and care that I deserve!

As you might imagine, given my age, I have a few age-related quirks, such as doggy arthritis. I will need to stay lean and healthy, see my regular vet regularly and possibly have special food and supplements will help all help me to feel my best. One of the GTHS Adoption Counselors would love to speak to you about me to fill you in on all my needs, and why I'm such a special girl!

Because October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, and I'm already in the Overlooked Pets program, my adoption fee is has been reduced and I am now available by donation so I can find my forever home that much faster. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip. The GTHS is open for adoptions from 12pm-4:00pm, every single day of the week and they would be thrilled to introduce you to me! I can't wait to meet you and am looking forward to starting my new life with my new family!
