GTHS is thrilled to announce that volunteer Diane Tarr, was the recipient of a Blue Mountains Community Volunteer Award. Supporters and Board Members were on hand to see Diane recognized at the ceremony held Sunday May 6.
The Town of The Blue Mountains Council formally recognized the accomplishments and contributions of volunteers in our community and this year marked the fifth class of members into the Order of the Blue Mountains. The Nominees were judged on the excellence of their contributions to The Blue Mountains nad consideratio was given for achievement, commitment, effort, measurable impact, originality and overall vision. This year’s Order of the Blue Mountains award recipients were chosen by a panel of five judges who reviewed the many nominations received.
