RABIES & MICROCHIP CLINIC
“Under the Ontario Health Protection and Promotion Act, Regulation 567, pet owners throughout Ontario are legally required to keep dogs, cats and ferrets over three months old vaccinated for rabies” (OMAFRA, 2019). Making sure your pet is vaccinated for Rabies will ensure that you, your pet and your family are all protected.
In addition to the legal requirements, rabies vaccinations protect your pets from the life-threatening virus.
Microchipping your pet drastically increases the chances that you are reunited with your pet should they become lost.
Upcoming Dates:
March 21 at the Meaford Fire Hall
10am – 2pm*
*First come, first served
$25 – Rabies Vaccine
$25 – Microchipping
The Municipality of Meaford will also be on site should Meaford residents require dog licences. Rabies and Microchipping services can be purchased by residents of any municipality.

Q. Why does GTHS offer the Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic?
A. Our main goal is to address the problem of pet over population. A second goal is to help preserve the human-animal bond by providing a service to help pets stay with their owners, rather than be surrendered to the GTHS.
Q. Where will the Mobile Spay/Neuter Clinic be operating?
A. The clinic operates in different areas throughout the Georgian Triangle, primarily in Meaford and Wasaga Beach. Service is NOT limited to residents of those areas.
