Whether it was kitten cuddles with Lucy in the front room or the playful antics of the Jolly, Jingle, and Joy puppies in Room 5, the event truly captured the heart of who we are and what we do: connecting pets and people. We were thrilled to welcome so many new faces eager to learn about our impact, help pets in need, and cheer us on as we continue to grow.
What an unforgettable afternoon we shared at the GTHS Holiday Open House on Tuesday, December 17th, 2024! Our festive halls were filled with warmth, laughter, and the incredible spirit of generosity that defines our amazing community.
A Celebration of Second Chances
The event brought together supporters of all ages who came to experience the heart of our mission: creating second chances for pets in need. Guests enjoyed exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of our Animal Centre, where they saw firsthand the dedication and care that goes into every step of a pet’s journey toward a brighter future.
Doubling the Impact
We were thrilled to share the news of a generous donor matching all gifts made between up to $5,000. This doubled the impact of every dollar donated to create even more opportunities for second chances.
Wish List Love
Our community came through in a big way, filling our Wish List with warm and fuzzy items to brighten the holidays for pets in our care. Seeing the thoughtful gifts piling up under the tree was a powerful reminder of the love and kindness that fuels our work.
