Back in August 2020, a dog named Bo was transferred from Northern Ontario to the GTHS. Soon after that, he was adopted to a wonderful family. Two years later, his name is now Splinter and not only is he doing well, but he has also brought a lot of happiness into his forever home. Here is an update from his adopter:
“I just wanted to give you an update on Splinter! He is doing so well and is truly an amazing dog!
He is great with the kids and other dogs and he loves to explore and hunt.
He has brought so much joy to our family. He is our third northern dog, and I have to say, they have all been amazing! Our others passed away at 14 and 15 years old.
Splinter had the greatest smile – he literally smiles in excitement and he does full body wiggles! It is absolutely adorable. We spend a lot of time outdoors and he enjoys the water and will swim occasionally! He also pounces at miles when he hears them under the leaves or the ground and he can pounce so high. It’s really cool to see!”
