Beautiful boy, Sony, arrived at the GTHS way back in April after wandering onto someone’s farm.
Poor Sony was feeling pretty dumpy when he arrived in the shelter and spent quite a while getting treated, so we could ensure he was a happy, healthy boy when he finally hit the adoption floor.
Fast forward to mid-June, and our Sony was FINALLY ready to find his purrfect home. Turns out this poor boy had kitty asthma and our awesome Animal Care Team got him on some great medications and had him feeling SO much better!
His turn finally came in early July when his special someone came through our doors and completely fell in love with him. The entire GTHS was anxiously awaiting an update on this sweet kitty and were THRILLED to read how well he was doing when the update finally arrived

We wanted to thank you again for allowing us to adopt such a sweetheart! Ever since Sony came home, he has been an amazing addition to our household and is now known as Blaze!!
This cat was overlooked for so long at the Humane Society, but it is probably one of the best things to happen to us! He loves to run around with his new kitty sister Luna, and they are both extreme snuggle bugs. Blaze loves to meow, and meow …. and meow some more, but it is such a wonderful thing to hear when we come home from work! Blaze is such a calm, and collective cat, sometimes we mistake him for a 50 year old man! He has been keeping up with his medications, making this a seamless transition for everyone.
