Medley’s new family sent us this update on how Medley (now Milly) is enjoying her new home:
“We have been waiting for Milly for a long time. My granddaughter spent months searching the GTHS every day (sometimes several times a day), until I heard her yell from upstairs, “I found my cat!!”
Unfortunately, it was late at night so she had to wait. The next day was a huge snowstorm and she had to wait again. I was so nervous the kitty would be gone by the time we made it to town, we left extra early and waited outside in order to be the first ones to visit with Medley. It was love at first sight.
We lost our kitty last year, on top of having some really hard personal stuff going on for the kids, we needed a special kitty to come to us and help with the healing process. She brings love and laughter and so much light into the house, teaching valuable lessons to my grandkids about responsibility and relationships between a pet and humans.
We love this little nugget and her outstanding personality.”
