Adoption Update: Leo

Leo, a small one year old cat, was adopted from the GTHS in August of this year.  Not only did he make quick friends at the Animal Centre, he bonded quickly with his new family.  Here is an update on how Leo is adjusting to life in his new home:

“From the first afternoon, Leo seemed to understand he was home with his family. And he seems to absolutely love it. He is purring, zooming, coming whenever we call him, eating well and chasing everything. He is in heaven getting all the snuggles he can handle and he has been incredibly tolerant of our young children’s attention. Our boys are now fighting over who Leo’s best friend is, while Leo purrs away.

Leo did come with a few disclaimers, but it seems that he might have been a bit stressed being in the cat room. We are finding him to be nothing but sweet, affectionate and happy.

We are thrilled to tell you it is going so well, and we are all over the moon about our decision to bring him home. Our biggest thanks and appreciation go out to all of your staff, volunteers and donors who make the important work you do in our community possible. Thank you for taking care of animals like Leo and connecting them to families like ours.”

Thank you so much for this update and Happy Tails to sweet Leo!
