Adoption Update: Joy

In December, we were delighted to have Joy, Jingle, and Jolly, a merry Christmas crew of pups who stole hearts at our Holiday Open House! We received this delightful update from Joy, now known as Maple:

Our family has been so busy enjoying time with our puppy Maple (originally Joy), that we forgot to send an update and special thank you for everything you do!

We introduced Maple to the family five days before Christmas, and she instantly fit right in with our two cats & two kids (2 and 5 years old). Fast forward to today and she’s now 6 months, double the weight and very popular at the dog park. Once someone mentions the “park”, Maple sprints over to the leash and sits patiently knowing she’s going to see some friends shortly.

After all that playing, she enjoys snuggles on the couch with our 2 kids and similar to most big dogs, she still thinks she’s a lap dog at 50 pounds (and growing).

Maple has been working on her tricks the last couple weeks, and despite receiving confusing/different commands from both kids, she is learning very quickly to sit, lay down, leave it, etc.

Again, we can’t thank you enough for bringing Maple into our lives and looking forward to many more adventures ahead!

Maple, it sounds like you have found the perfect home and family to grow and play in, and we couldn’t be happier for you!
