Adoption Update: Frankie

Happy Tail from GTHS alumni: FRANKIE

“Hi GTHS!
I just wanted to let the staff know that Frankie (Mister Blue Eyes) has been settling in really well with my husband, daughter and I. He is truly the biggest sweetheart ever. The first night he was hanging out in my toddlers teepee watching Bubble Guppies intently with her and they have become best friends since. He is down at the beach twice a day playing fetch and has learned how to swim. I take him running a few times a week with me, he seems to love that and I’ve really had to pick up the pace with this energetic guy! It was very apparent he had never been in water before but after we all went in encouraging him, he makes a beeline for the beach and cant get enough of it. He has made lots of dog friends in the neighborhood, those blue eyes make him quite the popular guy!
His paw healed up no problem and with a lot of encouragement he is now eating regularly without issue. Lots of leash training is taking place, he really wants to catch birds and squirrels, so the canny collar has helped a lot! He’s a strong boy so I can’t imagine walks without it. He is a very very good dog, fetch is his favourite game, he listens to commands so well and stays close to us at all times…I would name him Shadow as he’s always right behind me no matter where I go but he really seems to like Frankie!
I just want to thank you all for choosing us to take Frankie home, he stole our hearts immediately and we could not be happier with him!
Warm regards,
Frankie’s mom”
