Sweet man CHUCKY is one of the many FIV+ kitties that we have been fortunate to home through our adoption program!
They are SUCH special cats and we were absolutely thrilled to hear how one of our most recent FIV+ boys is making out in his new home.
“Good evening everyone at Georgian Triangle Humane Society,
I received your lovely card in the mail today, and wanted to send an update about GTHS Alumni “Chucky”. I have also attached some photos for you.
Chucky has been settling in well here and has been enjoying sitting on my window sill, curling up on the couch, or in his little bed. He sleeps inside his bed on top of mine every night, and is a great friend to cuddle with on the couch. He is so affectionate to everyone, and kindly headbutts for attention. He still enjoys Temptations, and meows often when he gets wet food for dinner.
He met the vet, and that appointment went great. The vet was also very pleased about your FIV+ information sheet, and made a copy to hand out along with their own fact sheet about FIV+ cats.
Thank you again for all of your assistance, and thoughtfulness throughout my adoption process.
