Adoption Update: Carrot

Handsome boy CARROT was a lovely senior kitty who came to GTHS when his family could unfortunately no longer keep him. Happy news though, because this older gentleman got scooped up after only 2 weeks in our Adoption Room (that’s a nice short stay for a senior cat!!)

Check out this great update we’ve already received from the daughter of CARROT’s new mom!

“Hi GTHS!
Your staff was amazing, the adoption team took the time (2 hours) or more to work with my Mum to find her a cat.
We knew we needed a senior cat for her and it was a tough decision but we came home with “Carrot” now renamed to Milo, to honour the passing of her recent pug named Otis.
Milo took all of 8 minutes to feel comfortable at my Mum’s house. My Mum has been so depressed after she lost her dog, and within a few short hours she had that pep in her voice and someone to keep her company.
Please let your staff know how grateful I am and how wonderful they were and how well Milo is doing within a few hours of adoption”

Thank you to CARROT’s new mom, and her daughter, for choosing to take him home and for the incredibly kind words about our organization!

Have a happy life CARROT!!
