Adoption Update: Brownie

Brownie’s family sent an update to share how Brownie has settled in, and highlight adopting senior pets who still have lots of love and companionship to offer:

“I suggested my Dad find a new furry friend after his beloved cat Amy passed in July. My Dad was hesitant, but he is an 88 year old senior still living in his own home. I told him that there are senior cats out there that need a companion just like you.

I have followed your website for many years and one day Dad and I sat down and had a look. Brownie caught my Dad’s eye and his bio sounded like a cat he was willing to go meet. We drove to Collingwood from Owen Sound (first time Dad has been on the highway for years!) and found the staff at GTHS welcoming. Dad just wanted to see Brownie!

Long story short, we brought Brownie home. Thank you so much!! You run an amazing operation that makes a connection with people and pets that are just waiting to find one another!!
