Our volunteers make a HUGE impact on the lives of the abandoned, neglected, and abused animals that enter our shelter every day and are an important asset to our organization. The GTHS could not do the amazing work we do without the dedication and hard work of our volunteers.
We endeavour to accommodate as many domestic animals in need as our resources will allow. This means that our volunteers are kept busy! Being a volunteer is extremely rewarding, educational and fun, but also requires commitment and work!
National Volunteer Week is taking place from Sunday 15th April through Saturday 21st April 2018. Whilst we appreciate our volunteers each and every day, this special week provides an opportunity to officially mark the contributions they make throughout the year.
