LIFE INSURANCE = SMART CHARITABLE GIVING!

Gifting life Insurance is a great way to leverage tax benefits while making a much larger gift to your favorite charity than you ever thought possible. There are a variety of ways that a gift of life insurance can work for you. Each has different tax advantages and every option can benefit your local charity.

Background

It has been almost 100 years since Howard Noble was born. Founder of Noble Insurance Company, Howard was known throughout Southern Georgian Bay as a pillar of the community. A proud supporter of many community groups and charities, he was also a prolific insurance salesman!

In celebration of the upcoming anniversary of Howard Noble’s birth and his philanthropic nature, community charities have jointly launched a new campaign “100 Ways to Celebrate 100 Years” to encourage local residents to support their favourite charity by donating insurance policies.

Howard sold hundreds of policies over his more than 60 years in the insurance business. Many were sold to protect families against financial disaster. Things have since changed and many families no longer need the benefits those insurance policies were meant to provide. Now those policies can benefit local charities and provide potential tax advantages for the donor.

The ultimate goal of the campaign is the donation of 100 insurance policies benefitting charities that serve Southern Georgian Bay.

Wayne Noble has kicked off the campaign by donating a significant policy to both the Collingwood G&M Hospital and Hospice Georgian Triangle. Help us reach our goal of 100 policies gifted to a local charity in Howard’s 100th year. Only 99 more to go!
