WHY DID YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER AT GTHS

As a Vegan I am an passionate advocate for animals rights.  Volunteering at the GTHS allows me to help those animals in need as well as raise awareness in our community. No animal deserves to be abandoned or mistreated for any reason.  I love the strong sense of community and warm welcoming atmosphere of the Shelter.  Plus I get to play with lots of dogs, especially chi-chis!!!

WHAT DO YOU DO AS A VOLUNTEER – WHEN DID YOU START VOLUNTEERING?

I have been volunteering for about 1.5 years. I help in Volunteer Administration and Dog Walking. l I am also the Chair of the 2016 Walkathon and am planning the Fall Family Fun Day at the shelter as part of our Thanks for Giving Campaign!

SOMETHING WE DON’T KNOW ABOUT YOU?

I am a pretty open person 🙂  I am a yoga teacher with an affection for succulents and craft beer?
